Pessi Pohjola Trio

Introduction

Pessi Pohjola Trio, founded in 2024, is a piano trio whose repertoire consists of original compositions and jazz classics. The group draws inspiration from the trio line-ups of legendary pianists such as Wynton Kelly and Chick Corea. The trio’s members met when they began their studies at the jazz department of the Sibelius Academy. The young virtuosos’ playing is communicative, bold, sparkling, and dynamic—everything needed for an unforgettable evening!
