Duo Selina

Introduction

Duo Selina brings our national instrument, the kantele, into the present with a fresh approach. The duo’s music draws inspiration not only from Finnish folk music but also from Nordic folk music traditions, and their repertoire consists of both traditional and self-composed pieces. The rich sound of the duo is centered around the possibilities offered by two concert kanteles.
