Introduction
The vocal ensemble Signe takes expression through song to a new level. The ensemble's music feels tangible and breaks the boundaries of jazz, contemporary music and folk music, and its moods range from lyrical longing to happy, groovy tunes. The trio consists of singers that met at the jazz department of the Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki. The ensemble has performed at several significant music festivals both in Finland and abroad. The album To Sappho, published through Eclipse Music, made the ensemble a candidate for the 2020 Teosto Prize.
